Connections for Europe's CCS Project
In the Port of Rotterdam, Porthos—a transport pipeline—is being built that is setting new standards for Europe’s CCS infrastructure.
The HP2 systems meet the highest requirements for leak tightness, pressure resistance, and electrical insulation, and have been comprehensively tested for rapid gas decompression in accordance with DIN EN ISO 23936-2. This verifies 0% permeation at 250 bar and 110 °C—a guarantee of long-term operational safety for the transmission line and the transfer of technology to future H₂ and CO₂ projects.
