ISOFLANGES was founded in 2016 in response to a technical challenge: A project lacked the right insulating flange—one that would simultaneously meet requirements for leak tightness, pressure resistance, electrical insulation, and CCP standards, while remaining maintenance-free. Rather than settling for compromises, a young team collaborated with a technology partner to develop a new, precisely engineered connection technology—with a particular focus on the increasing requirements posed by hydrogen and other critical media.
ISOFLANGES was among the first suppliers to offer insulating flanges certified for use with hydrogen. This marked the beginning for a company that not only solves technical challenges but also views them as a driving force for innovation.

To this day, ISOFLANGES is driven by the conviction that progress is born when technical ambition meets responsibility. In a rapidly changing energy landscape, we need connection technologies that anticipate future requirements—for hydrogen, CO₂, and other critical media.
With this commitment, ISOFLANGES develops and manufactures highly specialized insulated flange systems at its Winsen (Aller) facility—Made in Germany. When standard solutions are not sufficient, new custom-made systems are developed—for different diameters, higher pressures, corrosive media, or extreme operating conditions.
Customers include various utility companies, pipeline operators, and chemical and industrial companies. ISOFLANGES solutions provide cathodic corrosion protection, meet the highest testing and quality standards, and are already suitable for 100% hydrogen and CO₂ applications. At the same time, each application is designed specifically for the medium and use case—from kerosene to drinking water.

Standards, Certificates, and Tests
ISOFLANGES is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and is DVGW-authorized for the design and distribution of technical components for gas systems. Our products comply with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) and are supplied with acceptance test certificates (APZ 3.1 or 3.2), declarations of conformity, and complete project documentation.
