Insulating flanges
for drinking water
The component in the HP2 model that comes into contact with the medium is specifically designed for drinking water applications. This ensures that systems remain hygienically safe and compliant with regulations.
General characteristics
- For gases in accordance with G260, including the 5th gas family (≤100% H₂ and CO₂), and liquids with low conductivity
- Technically maintenance-free
- Seal replacement possible; complete insulating flange connection is reusable
- Corrugated ring seals in a positive-displacement configuration; the sealing material does not exhibit flow behavior
- Can be adapted to the installation space and pipework
- Cleaning-friendly, aerodynamic design

HP2 DIN/ASME Drinking Water
Specific Characteristics
- Lip seals as components in contact with the medium, with KTW approval
- Reusable insulating flange; gaskets can be replaced during maintenance
- O-ring gasket installed in a secondary load path; the sealing material does not exhibit flow behavior
Applications
- Insulating flange connections in drinking water systems, graywater systems, and service water systems, used, among other things, for black-and-white separation and galvanic isolation in water treatment plants and distribution lines.
