Precision Connections for Large-Scale H₂ Storage
As part of the Clean Hydrogen Coastline project, the Huntorf natural gas cavern is being retrofitted into one of Europe’s first large-scale storage facilities for 100% hydrogen. ISOFLANGES is supplying highly specialized HP2 insulating flange connections for this project that can withstand the extreme material requirements of H2.
The 8″ ASME Class 900 and Class 600 RTJ19 systems used ensure leak-tightness, electrical insulation, and long-term stability for future operation in the hydrogen core network. In this way, ISOFLANGES is making a decisive contribution to the secure supply of hydrogen to industry and heavy-duty applications and is strengthening the hydrogen infrastructure in northern Germany—with precision, certification, and readiness for the energy transition.
