CCP Insulating Flanges for Mixing and Special Connections

In Schwaig near Nuremberg, N-ERGIE Netz GmbH modernized a gas pressure regulation and metering system in the regional gas distribution network. The system needed to be brought up to the latest standards in terms of safety and operational requirements—while also meeting high requirements for electrical isolation, cathodic corrosion protection, and a low-maintenance design over the long term. Different connection standards and specialized sealing systems complicated its integration into the existing infrastructure.

ISOFLANGES developed and supplied custom CCP insulating flange systems for various pressure ratings and installation scenarios. Custom solutions for O-ring seals and recessed flange designs combine ASME and DIN connections into a unified insulation concept. Thanks to the precise design and close coordination with the operator, the new components could be integrated into the plant environment without extensive modifications. The result is a robust, low-maintenance solution that enhances operational safety in the distribution network and prepares the plant for future changes in the gas infrastructure.
