INSULATING FLANGES TYP HP2 RF5 / RTJ5-KKS – TYP HP2 DIN5-KKS

Effective KKS separation with small gap dimensions between the existing welding neck flanges for ASME and DIN flange connections. Insulating flange connection 5 mm overall length – 100 % KKS protection. With this design, for which ISOflanges has applied for a patent, we offer you a solution if a standard installation length of 19mm is not feasible.

FULFILLS ALL STANDARD REQUIREMENTS
  • Retrofitting a flange connection to a fully-fledged insulating joint for CCP
  • Conversion from an "insulating" gasket to a fully-fledged insulating joint for CCP without adjusting the pipe fittings
  • Required overall gap dimensions of only 5 mm no increased installation effort, with a distance between the sealing surfaces of at least 5 mm
  • Standard-compliant insulating flange connection meets the requirements for CCP systems, due to the connection piece in the inner diameter – sparkover is effectively prevented
  • Final product approval DIN EN 1594
  • Block flange connection
  • Documentation, with specification of torques

Note – this design cannot be realized for DIN flange connections:

  • Sufficient height of the sealing strip not guaranteed due to high dimensional tolerances.
  • Sparkover in the area of the screw holes is possible.
