INSULATING FLANGE CONNECTIONS TYPE HP2
RF5 / RTJ5-KKS

Effective CCP separation with small gap dimensions between the existing welding neck flanges for ASME flange connections sealing surfaces RF or RTJ.

With this design, for which ISOflanges has applied for a patent, we offer you a solution if no 19 mm standard installation length can be realized.

FULFILLS ALL STANDARD REQUIREMENTS
  • Retrofitting a flange connection to a fully-fledged insulating joint for CCP
  • Conversion from an "insulating" gasket to a fully-fledged insulating joint for CCP
  • Required overall gap dimensions of only 5 mm No increased installation effort, with a distance between the sealing surfaces of at least 5 mm
  • Standard-compliant insulating flange connection meets the requirements for CCP systems, due to the connection piece in the inner diameter - sparkover is effectively prevented
  • Final product approval DIN EN 1594
  • Block flange connection
  • Documentation, with specification of torques

Note – this design cannot be realized for DIN flange connections:

  • Sufficient height of the sealing strip not guaranteed due to high dimensional tolerances.
  • Sparkover in the area of the screw holes is possible.
